Belkin USB BT thingamy

I've set up my PC with a Belkin USB BT thingamy and have got my iPaq to sync with it. However, I seem to have to manually connect the serial port on the iPaq's entry under the Bluetooth Neighbourhood.

Is there a setting I can change so that, as long as both BT radios are on (they are bonded devices), they can automatically connect, so I only have to turn the iPaq on and tell it to Sync in order to do that?

Just in case anyone's interested, I was told yesterdqay how to solve this. Set the PC up to accept ActiveSync via the network. Worked last night, so should be the fix.
