Anyone use Scosche Bluetooth transmitter?

Has anyone here used a Scosche bluetooth transmitter to connect to a Motorolla HT820 stereo headset?

Since my 8125 does not yet have A2DP I thought I might be able to use the Scosche transmitter to link up to my HT820 headset but the devices do not want to pair up with each other.
The Scosche transmitter is sold with a matching receiver that plugs into the car stereo to add bluetooth to the car. The two talk to each other fine but the transmitter wont pair with my headset and the Scosche person I exchanged email with seemed to think it should work so...
