Default Anyone use the Netgear FM-114P wireless gateway??

Before I shell out money for this, just wondering if anyone has used it and can provide some feedback on it.

I plugged it in around three months ago and, other than applying an update patch, I haven't had to fiddle with it yet.

As far as I can tell the firewall has kept out any unwanted attention and my WiFi signal is slightly stronger than under my previous kit (Netgear ME102).

The print server does not allow the bi-directional control required for all the functionality of my DeskJet 5550 software, but it does it's job. It doesn't turn on the printer from standby as (I think) it should, but that's no big deal for me.

Post here if you have any specific questions.

HTH, Thomas.

Other than the cable modem you'll be plugging in the other side, yes.

Well, I went and bought a Linksys Wireless Router (G) and my ppc is opening up internet pages almost as fast as my desktop :drinking:

Linksys tech support was useless, but my ISP (Adelphia) was able to walk me through installation.

Simply awesome!
