Default Word doc file truncated

Hi,

Sometimes when I transfer Word Doc files from my PC to my iPAQ 2215, the following error message comes up during the transfer; "The file was truncated to 8186 lines"...

Anybody an idea how I can get around this...? An example Word file which is not tranferable is 1.3MB on my PC in size.

Second question, when I transfer a large .txt file to my iPAQ, it comes up with a Pocket WOrd error message: "Error opening file". In this case I'm able to transfer the file to my IPAQ, but can not open it...

Anybody with some help on the two subjects....

Regards, :?:

Pocket Word is not much more than a "Notes" application... it is by no ways expected to be a word processor. I do not know how complex your documents are but you may find more success in an application like "Textmaker"... I am not sure if they have a trial copy of the software... but if they do it would be in your best interest to have a look.

It is an expensive piece of software but it does a nice job for word processing on the PPC. By the way they had a great deal a few months ago where they sold it for $10... So you may want to keep an eye out for another sale...

Their other planned application that is due to make a big splash.. "Planmaker" is due to be released from beta shortly... an Excel type program that is sure to be fabulous as well. Meanwhile for a spreadsheet program there is always... "SpreadCE".. . another wonderful application that is currently free with a "nag screen" or $20 for the full-version...
