Default What is the best auto maintenance software?

Hi,

I would like to know what is the best auto maintenance software out there. I have tried some but none has convinced me.

What I want is a software that would ask me every month or so how many miles I have on my car so that it could warn me of upcoming events. (oil change for example)

Another feature that I want, is to be able to keep track of repair and part expenses

Is anything like that available?

You might want to try Personal Vehicle Manager from Two Peaks Software - http://www.twopeaks.com/site/products/pvm/

They have a 30-day trial versiion.

Here's one that might do the trick. It issues reminders of upcoming maintenance & is called AutoCare

Be careful of PVM! It stores all of your data in the \Program Files subtree, for some unknown reason, rather than in \My Documents, and that cannot be changed. This means that the data is not backed up by a simple ActiveSync Files sync - you must back up the device to back up the data, or buy the PC version to sync with. I once did a hard reset without knowing this and lost months worth of data.

I also found that after about ten months of fuel data it would ask you to filter to lesser date range for performance. The issue with this was that I could not then get reports on all of my fuel costs, usage and average statistics from the start.
