PPC software equivilant to favorite smartphone apps?

Just switching back to a PPC (Tilt) from a SP (Blackjack), and looking for tips on the current must have apps. I had a PPC phone some time ago, but I'm sure a lot's changed.

On my SP, I used Facade and Papyrus, which don't seem to have a PPC version available. Is pocket informant still the best calendar app? What about a replacement for facade?

What other software should be considered a 'must have'?

Also, I see lots of roms available for the Tilt... does anyone have any specific roms you'd recommend ?

I'd say Facade sounds like a combination of Pocket Breeze, iLauncher and Phone Weaver (all from SBSH as well). There're certainly alternatives to PI, but it's a good place to start.
