Are there any PPC users that are using PPC's for real time documentation for emergency medicine? I am interested in note creation primarily, with either wireless lan printing or printing to a bluetooth or IR capable printer.

I've looked at most packages out there for Voice recognition and packages for the PPC/Palm platforms and while the VR stuff is usable in a QUIET environment, that's just not the reality of a busy emergency department.

Some places you may want to have a look at are Skyscape, Medical Pocket PC and MedPDA.

As I don't have the need for any emergency medicine applications, I can't really give out any recommendations at the moment. However, if you have questions on other medical applications, feel free to ask.
