Although I don't know this app, you may be able to use a tool like cabinstall (not sure if that's the spelling) to capture the installation cab file and copy it directly to your macine. The you can just install it on your device without using the PC Installer.

Also, it is possible that the installer is corrupt. Have you tried to download it again?

If HTTPMail Provider for Pocket PC fails on install, I would try to download it again. How are you getting the CAB file to your Pocket PC?

I have tried multiple downloads i copy it over by right click copy and explore through my computer > mobile device > my documents, or downloading straight to my documents in the mobile device

I have soft reseted the device, i have 1.10 rom update, is there any software that could conflict with the install?

Yes, Resco explorer breaks the default encryption settings on the device.
I'll update httpmail on both sites soon, meanwhile PM me if you want a fixed version.
