Default How to Paste?

How do I paste text into a field when there is no menu or tapping and popup menu does not work?
Example: Paste a key, in a key-field when configuring Wi-Fi card security setting. Typing the long keys in HEX is not what I want spending time with.
(On the PC I would use shift+ins for this)
Using Pocket 2002 and E-200.

Bring up the on-screen keyboard and use Ctrl-C for copy and Ctrl-V for paste. Usually works like a charm when the tap-and-hold method isn't supported! (This same key combo also works on PCs.)

I tried that, but sadly it didn't work.

That's strange. What Wi-Fi card are you using with your E-200? I know Socket's latest drivers support profiles, so you only enter the WEP keys once, but I know not all drivers do this yet. If neither tap-and-hold nor Ctrl-V work for pasting, I'm not aware of another alternative. Sorry.

There ... are times ... when a security setting text box does not support CTRL + X, + C, + V for cut, copy and paste. Password boxes particularly. Maybe this is the case? For a control test, try testing CTRL + C and + V in another application....
