Default HELP: iPAQ Back-up ( Sprite Back-up ) problem...

Hi all,

I have a iPAQ H2210 and my set up is to perform a back-up every night, however, I sometimes wake up to a dead PPC.

The reason is my device does not automatically perform a soft-reset after back is completed but simply stops at the "back up completed screen". If I am unlucky, the back light will be on and off over night, thus draining the battery and prompting further back-ups.

Now, I read it on the Sprite FAQ that there should be a place to set up an automatic soft-reset.. but I can't seem to find it.
( My setting now is for the device to ask for a soft reset )

Quote:
On the backup options screen in Sprite Backup there is an option to 'Stop Processes Before Backup'. This option is "on" by default, and when it is enabled, other running programs are shut down before a backup is performed. This allows Sprite Backup to read files that would otherwise have been exclusively locked (i.e. they would not have been backed up if the processes had not been stopped).
When this option is set, when the backup is complete Sprite Backup will automatically soft reset the device (or ask the user to perform the soft reset depending on the backup options). The soft reset will cause any programs that are started automatically by the Pocket PC to be re-started. If the option is turned off, then other processes are not stopped and therefore Sprite Backup will not perform a soft reset.
Taken from FAQ section of www.spritesoftware.com

Please help...

Thank you

I don't have that option on my iPAQ...

My iPAQ H2210 is the Traditional Chinese version and I don't actually have Sprite installed ( I am using the iPAQ Backup variant )

Does that matter?
