Default help deleteing a file

hi folks,

I need help deleting a file in my startup folder, problem is i put the exe file in the startup folder and not a shortcut ( i know i know) so the file is always in use. the file is "poweroff" and there is no way i see to shut it down so i can delete the file. any ideas? thanks

thanks for the thought but no matter what it,s called it would still load at startup


hey, just to try, i moved it out of the folder and it let me!?!? problem solved!

For some reason, if you first rename a file, THEN move it out of the folder, THEN delete it, it works. Or sometimes just move it then delete it. Perhaps witha soft reset before the "deleting" phase. I can't remember. But I've had this problem with deleting .dlls that didn't uninstall properly.
