Default HandyZIP 1.85 Released, Includes Full Support For 2003

http://www.cnetx.com/handyzip/

CNetX has just released HandyZIP 1.85. HandyZIP is total .zip file management on your Pocket PC. "Keeping notes and documents in compressed format means that you can have more information with you, thus extending the effectiveness of your mobile device. With HandyZIP you can also extract contents of any ZIP archive you download from the web, from newsgroups, or attached to your incoming e-mail."

They have versions for all Pocket PC 2000, 2002 and 2003 devices as well as Handheld PC 2000, HPC and HPC Pro devices. It is $19.95 to register and there is a trial version available. You also can download an over-the-air install from their site directly to your Pocket PC if desired.

Default A Bit Of A Ripoff

Lets see, HandyZip, which is basically a .zip utility, can zip and unzip files, for $19.95. Resco Explorer 2003 will also zip and unzip files, has a network browser, can encrypt folders and files, can be used as a file explorer (and a damn good one too!), can send and recieve files via IR, can be used to easily create shortcuts, view documents, edit the registry, etc. and also costs $19.95. It seems that Cnetx is a little too proud of their little program, if you ask me (which you did'nt). :?

That's what I was thinking. And it's not like HandyZIP is the Porsche of the zip world or anything.
