This download can be found on Siemen's website as well so I don't know if we Canucks can claim as being first. In fact I downloaded it the night I found out I won my sx56 on ebay... Now if only the silly thing would show up....

O.k., you knew this question was coming.

What if I am a Rogers customer using an unlocked T-Mobile branded XDA on the Rogers network. Can I still download the upgrade without frying my machine?

FYI.
Rogers hasn't made this official yet, so they are not supporting it. Everyone is SUPPOSE to get a text message as soon as they are official. But it does work, we installed it yesterday, (almost) flawlessly. Had problems connecting to the internet, but manually entered the DNS addresses and success.

Confirmed. I just flashed two last week. I called into Rogers tech support to help with the GPRS setup, and the tech support rep said he couldn't 'officially' help me since they weren't trained (the GPRS config screens have changed on 2003). He was nice enough to give me the settings for the 2002 and told me that it should be easy to figure out myself. It was.
