Activesync Alternative?

Does anyone know of an alternative to activesync that is more stable? I'm having alot of issues with my 4705 connecting as a guest?! After a soft reset and rebooting my pc the problem is resolved but it really is too much a hassle IMO. I never had this issue with my 3955 w/ppc2002. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, either for the guest issue or an alternative. Thanks

I don't know of any alternatives to Activesync, but as far as the guest issue, did you install the newest version (3.7.1 I think) when you upgraded? I had this guest issue fairly often with some previous versions but this latest one has been quite stable for me.
