Are the brightness settings on a PPC based on the hardware? Or the software? The lowest brightness setting on my Toshiba E830 is too bright for my normal preference indoors, and positively blinding at night when reading in bed.
I need a tool to get access to lower brightness settings. Is there one? or a registry hack?
