Will New IPaq's use Same Connector?
I've been trying to find an answer to this, but no one online seems to be addressing it. Will the new ipaq's (Specifically for me, the h6315) use the same charge / sync connector as the IPaq 5500 series (i.e. I want to be able to use my same charge / sync cables)? I think the 5500 series used the same connector as some other modules too.
I'm not too well versed in ipaqs yet (as I've only owned one for less than a month), so forgive me if this is common knowledge and I just don't know it yet.
Jon.

Oh Come on guys - someone has to know the answer to this - or know someone who does. Anyone have any idea? Emails I've sent to reviewers go unanswered, posts I make all over the internet get ignored - I'M STARTING TO THINK NO ONE LIKES ME.
So seriously - any ideas?

I would post, but I don't know for sure. My guess is yes, but seeing how few people have a 6315 on their hands, I'm not hugely surprised you haven't seen many responses yet.
Your best bet as of this moment might be to see if iPAQ 6315 accessories are listed on HP's site and if the part numbers match?

Thanks for atleast responding to my plea Janak.
Well, Dave over at Davesipaq apparently heard my pleas over there and posted http://davesipaq.com/forum/showthread.php?p=13012, basically saying that the connectors aren't the same Oh well.... hope Ebay gets those cables quick...
I'd say "Ask and ye shall receive", yet i've asked numerous times before... so I guess its 9th time's the charm.

Are you aware of the h6300's slow processor - its a step down from your 5555 at below 200Mhz.

Naw Justin, I missed that in the 4 or so reviews i've read
Processor power is not an issue for me. Battery life and connectivity is. I plan on keeping the 5555 for any real processor intensive needs, and using the 6315 as my daily ppc, keeping my smartphone2 around for backup.

For all those who wish to know - they DO use the same connector. I just used the same sync / charge cable for my 5500 and 6315 without a problem, and on HP's site, they list their charge / syncs as being compatible with 5500 & 6300 series.
Oh, and this thing is suprisingly quick! Doesn't seem like a slower processor.
