She grows on you.

Her first CD has some really good songs and a couple that I wish I could scratch off the surface of the disc. :lol: That's why being able to rip discs is so important to me; I can listen to only the songs I want whenever and wherever I want. Copy protected CDs that force me to listen in a real CD player with no playlist that would allow me to skip those "bad" songs just piss me off.
I found
Amerigo Poppy while reading up on PHPNuke on another discussion forum. The guy who does their Web site posted a link to it and I was hooked. Although their entire CD is available for free as MP3s on their site, I bought the CD that day.

Yes, you're correct. I really like the song
Bring Me to Life but it's
so overplayed on the radio now that I don't even listen to it on my own very much. When I first heard Evanescence, I wasn't sure it was my type of music, but Amy Lee's voice really grabbed me. Her powerful vocals shine through the heavy guitars and such and make for a unique sound that I've really come to enjoy.
