I found a troubleshoot page a few days ago that outlined how to correct a connection problem (something about error 28 within the device manager). The problem is the troubleshoot wasn't for XP and that's what I run. I have an Ipaq 3850 and active sync doesn't always connect when I put in the cradle. When I use connection wizard it tells me that "USB is available" but my device is not detected. I've been able to connect if I turn the PPC off and select File>Get Connected>Next and as the wizard searches for the device I turn the PPC back on. This is obviously no way to live. Any help would be appreciated.
