Default Two x5s now and same apps for each?

Yet another quesiton.

I now have 2 X5s. Was not planning on it. Now a question. Can I download the apps I purchased for the first X5 from desktop onto the second X5? Was wondering if that is ok ethically and technically?

I mean, is there anyway that the desktop or activesync can get confused between the 2 different ppcs??

You will be required to give the second PPC a different name than the first before it will allow you to set up an AS partnership. That is more for you to keep them apart as AS uses and internal ID to keep them apart.

Technically you can usually load the software on multiple devices. Sometimes the registration details will prevent that, or make it inconvenient. Ethically depends on the license agreement on the software.

If the X5's are the same model, why not just do a back up and restore.
Get one of the X5's loaded up, back it up to an SD card (or I guess you could go through activesync...), take that SD card, pop it into the other X5, and tell it to restore.
Just make sure you rename one of the devices afterwards, so they'll still sync.
