FYI www.pricewatch.com is a pretty good place to go for finding prices on tech stuff. You'll often get the same places as pricegrabber, which I like if I have a specific item in mind (brand and model), but pricewatch is easier to navigate if you are looking for just a type, like 1G or 512 SD cards, for instance, IMHO.

Pretec announced a 2 GB MMC 4 card a few weeks ago, but I don't think it will be available that soon.

So what is the difference between sd card or compact flash . Apart from size and price . At the the mo i'm thinking about buying another sd card , but my flash slot is empty .

Will i notice a speed difference ????

Looking on ebay i can get a 256mb card for the price of a 512 Mb compact flash.
Is i worth going for the compact flash ?
