You can find a lot of info about unlocking phones and such at xda-developers forums. Make sure you search before you post as there is not always a lot of tolerance for questions that have been asked and answered several times. Other things to do:
  • Get a good memory manager program (Tapping the X only minimizes a program). I use iLauncher, but there are many others, including freeware like Magic Button.
  • I am partial to phone profile programs. Again I like PhoneWeaver from SBSH (same as iLauncher), but there are lots of other ones as well.
  • Ditch the lame File Explorer and get either Resco Explorer (payware) or Total Commander (freeware)
  • Get a good program for maintaining your device (clearing junk files and such). I have both Memmaid and SK Tools (some overlap for sure!) and there are others.
  • Do a few searches here; there are a few older threads on favorite software.
