Default HELP! Please help a Newbie!

Hi there,

I am a relatively new PPC user, but long time Palm user and i am running into some troubles today that causing some real problems. I'm pretty sure that my problems are being compounded by lack of maintenance but here goes:

I am using an HTC Mogul (WM 6) on the telus network with a 6gig card.

The immediate symptom is that I am getting low storage memory errors. The problem is that I can't do anything to free up memory. When I try to delete files with File explorer, I am getting an error that I do not have permission to delete the file. (This goes for everything, photos, office documents, videos...)

This leads me to my second problem. A little while ago I ran into the problem that I am unable to remove programs through Settings>System>Remove Programs. Nothing shows up in the list. (I read a couple of articles on the problem but didn't have time to actually fix it.) I should have dealth with this earlier, but didn't have enough time to troubleshoot it.

The last problem is that since the Remove Programs problem showed up, I have not been able to hotsync. (I believe that these problems are related, but am not sure.) So now recent backup.

Now I am stuck with no way to remove files to free up memory. I'm pretty sure the problems are related, but am not sure.

I always hate when things go bad with a smartphone, I totally forget how dependant I am on it.

Thanks in advance.
