deleting WAV files

i need help to remove a wav file from my pda. some how i have picked up a couple of telephone conversations and they have been saved. they take up most of the memory and i would appreciate help to delete them. there is a problem in that a message pops up telling me that i cant delete because they are a shared file. any ideas.

First thing to try is to do a soft reset, then try to delete the files before doing anything else.
