Change the default email program

I am looking for a solution to this problem:

I use goodlink software to get my email. It uses it's own program, not the one that comes with the PPC. Programs that have the ability to launch email keep starting the built-in email client, not the goodlink one.

Does anyone know a hack that will allow me to change the location of the default email program?
