Default 802.11A???

Is there any way to connect my iPAQ to my 802.11A network at home? I can only find 802.11b CF cards.

What about a PCMCIA 802.11a card? It is an iPAQ after all.

Yes, PCMCIA would work... as might a CF-PCMCIA converter... but who likes that kind of bulk? yuch!

And don't forget you need the WinCE/PPC drivers for that PCMCIA 802.11a card. Off hand I don't know if any of the available cards come with those... yet.

Actually, it's unlikely that 802.11a will work on current PDAs for the forseeable future. All of the 802.11a cards that I'm currently aware of are cardbus, and none of the PDAs are.

If someone knows different, I'd appreciate the correction...
