Default 300 Dollars Ipaq 2210 for Small and Medium Buisnesses

Ok, well I sent this to get posted as news, but evidently it didnt get posted. SO here is what i wanted to share with everyone. After stumbling upon the 293dollar student and faculty special, I came across another one, but this time for small and medium buinesses.

The thing is, there is an offer at Compaq/HP in which they are giving an instant 100 dollar rebate on PPCs that cost 399 and up. Well it turns out that the 2210 costs 399. The 100 dollar rebate leaves it at 300.

Go to the Small and Medium Buisnesses section and look for the promotion section. There you will see the 100 dollar off promotion. The prices dont reflect it thought... and I dont know if the rebate kicks in until after you go through some of the Filling in Process(Name, Address, Company, etc).

Someone might want to call up HP and get their 300 dollar 2210. I decided to post this for those unlucky few who could not get in the 293 dollar ipaq deal.

I did just that and the $100 never showed up. I cancelled the order after my e-mail indicated the $399 was the price with the $100 off. :devilboy:

Yeah i think it is strange that they are offering a 100 dollar rebate but it doesnt show up
Oh and another thing i forgot to mention... the 100 dollar rebate is until the 30th of this month.

Maybe you can call HP and ask about it.

If it's a rebate wouldn't it still show the price as 399 and you would have to mail in the rebate to get the 100 off?

That might be true... but it does promote it as being an "Instant Rebate"

Never mentions anything about it being a mail in rebate.
