would an unlocked cingular 3125 HTC phone work with verizon?

yeah.. title pretty much says it all. right now i have an xv-6700 and i love it, but i'm always afraid im going to scratch or break the screen, especially with summer coming up. so i'm looking to downgrade to a flip-smartphone. does anyone know if this phone in particular will work under the verizon network? thanks.

Quick answer - No way! The reason is that the 3125 is based on GSM networks and Verizon operates on CDMA technology.

Verizon does have a flip Windows Mobile Smartphone from Pantech.

It may not have cool looks of the 3125, but will do the same things as the 3125. Check it out in the stores.
