I'm looking for a simple picture editor to replace Kodak EasyShare. My friend has it on her computer and she relies on it to remove redeye and add effects and things like that, but its a horribly buggy program so I'd like to replace it with something smaller and faster.

It needs to be very simple, only performing basic photo touchup tasks without all of the bloat of kodak easyshare. It doesn't need to manage photos, they can use Windows for that.

Best Buy frequently puts Corel Photo Shop Pro Photo XI on sale for $50. It probably does far more than you need (based on your message), but it does them well.
