I'm on a never-ending quest to find the PERFECT DVD ripping solution, and this looks like it might be it. $49.99 USD is a reasonable price, and the functionality looks quite solid. There's a free trial for download if you want to check it our for yourself.

Any software made and sold by a company in the USA will have the same limitation due to compliance with the DMCA - it doesn't bother me in the slightest, removing encryption is what AnyDVD is for.

I see. Does AnyDVD work in parallel (in the background) or do you have to run the DVD thru it and then thru a copy program? like using DVDdecrypter.

Works in the background\in-parallel with any DVD related software on your PC. It is a phenomenal product that I'm glad I found. Better get a copy soon before their pricing structure goes up.

It runs in the background, and is literally SEAMLESS. Without a single pop-up, without having to run anything, it silently makes any commercially encrypted DVD completely free and open. It's an absolutely brilliant program and I can't recommend it highly enough.
