Default Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 Now 40% Off

https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/st...od&store=OLS-US

Photoshop Elements is a surprisingly powerful and capable package - I've been using it for years, going back several versions, and for the kind of work I tend to do with photos, it's more than enough. I think a lot of people have bought into the hype that Photoshop CS is the "only" software you should use if you're at all serious about photography, and I think that's incorrect. At any rate, getting Photoshop Elements 7 for $59.99 USD (40% off the normal price) is a great deal - it easily out-does every other product I've tested in the sub-$100 price range. The new version, which I'm working on a review of, has a lot to offer.

Thanks for highlighting this offer, Jason! I've been meaning to purchase PSE for ages after reading some very good reviews, but it's always been about £60-£70 so had been holding off hoping for some sort of offer - this one meant I got it for about £41!

Is this just a general sale or a signaling that a new version is coming soon?

I'm a regular use of Photoshop CS3 but agree that Elements covers most of what most people would need Photoshop for.

It's just a general sale - v7 of Photoshop Elements just came out a few months ago. November I think?

I meant to ask before - does anyone have an online tutorial for PSE that they'd recommend? I know there are lots of them out there but I'd be interested to read any that people thought were particularly good.

Thanks

Alan
