Default Re-Launch Contest #8: Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus

http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satell...t/1173965700866

Here's our eighth giveaway, courtesy of Corel: two copies of Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus, valued at $69.99 USD each, will be given away. Here's a bit about the product:

"DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus is easy-to-use disc authoring and burning software that lets you do more with your standard or High-Definition digital media. Create HD or standard discs with studio-quality personalized menus. Use the new Edit Room to add polish to your videos, with titles, music and effects. Archive, share and play your music, data, photos and videos on CD, DVD, HD DVD or Blu-ray Disc."

Here's how to enter: just post a message as a reply telling me what sort of DVDs you'd like to burn with this software. Family videos for safe keeping? TV shows or personal DVDs? Videos of your pet hamster? There's one post per person allowed, and two winners will be randomly chosen. The contest will stay open for entries until April 7th, 2008.

Special thanks to Corel for their donation of this software!

I really want to win this one!

I'm going to be a new father this summer and my wife & I could use this software to create DVDs of our new daughter. The software can import all our video camera footage and allow us to make edits.

I'd also like to use it to create DVDs of TV shows (that I recorded with my Windows Media Center) so my wife or I can watch while we work out on the treadmill. (My gym has individual DVD players at every aerobic machine.) As a bonus, the software can eliminate commercials from the TV shows.

Family videos. Kids really like it when I take some time to "re-mix" some footage with some different music and transitions.

Movies from my trips. I like to take hours of movies and then spend days to shrink them to 20 minutes.

Default I could really use the software

I do alot of recording with my TV tuner card and need a great piece of software to convert the mpg's to dvd. I don't have alot of local disk space so I have the need to put everything I record onto DVD for future viewing.

Thanks....

Been meaning to back up lots of things like my kids birthdays and playing football. This sure would help that project out. A big one for the wife is to get the wedding video saved.

Default I'd use it for..

Mostly backuping movies/tv shows I have in a digital format on my harddrive. At some point, I'd like to get a digital camcorder (hopefully high-def), so I'll need some good software to back up all those home movies at that point.
