Would replace my 250GB drive (with XP loaded), thus pairing the "new" drive with the 160GB one that Vista is running from.

Would then take the 250 drive and move it over to my wife's machine, in place of her secondary drive (something like 100 or 120GB) - which happens to be an "older" IDE drive and thus could go into the Family Room system (a 1GHz PIII: too old for SATA....).

Default Photo Backup
I am currently running on a 500gb HD in my home desktop.
If I win this drive, I will be using it as a photo and digital music backup hard drive

Perhaps persistence pays? My tired desktop HDD finally DID fail during this contest. I now need a new drive to get my file server back on line. This one would sure come in handy, Jason!

I'd use it for a 2nd hard drive, as I'm running out of space on the one I've got.
