I have a 250 gig drive that is rapidly filling up. Aside from a few games and a lot of music, I'm studying to become a 3D animator and the renders and associated files tend to take up a lot of space. I'm going to be upgrading my computer to Windows 7 soon and since I would need to wipe the drive anyways, (going from 32 bit to 64) it would be easier for me to just replace it with a drive that will last me a bit longer than the current one.
I'd add this drive to my HP MediaSmart EX470 Windows Home Server. I currently have 2 500GB HDD's in it, but they are filling up fast as I archive my DVD collection and prepare to begin adding Blu-ray titles in the near future.
I currently have a 250 GB drive, which is nearly full. If I won this drive, I'd probably put it in an enclosure and use it for backups, as well as to archive files that I don't need to use that frequently.
