Default Corel Digital Studio 2010 Giveaway: Win 1 of 10 Copies

http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satell...t/1186000605036

It's time for another giveaway! Corel has donated 10 copies of their brand new Digital Studio 2010 software. This is a suite of digital tools that allows you to edit and organize your photos, edit and share your videos, burn and watch DVDs, and a lot more - including the ability to make photo books and calendars. The software retails for $99 so that's $990 worth of software we're giving away. A big thanks to Corel for their generosity!

Now, on to the contest: Digital Studio 2010 has a bunch of features and, the video below is a partial walk-through of some of them. In order to enter this contest, I want you to post a message telling me what feature in Digital Studio 2010 looks the most useful to you, or tell me how you'd use the software. Have a project you'd like to use it for? Or some video footage you've been meaning to edit? Tell me how you'd use the software, and I'll randomly select 10 posts as winners. That's it!

The contest will run until 12pm GMT -7 on October the 19th - I want to ensure everyone has a chance to enter. Winners will be contacted via private message, and will have 72 hours to claim their prize, so make sure you check your forum inbox on the 19th. Better yet, subscribe to this thread and turn on instant notifications. This contest is open to anyone in the world, so I hope to see a lot of entries!

Video editing and making DVDs. I have a ton of old footage that I need to convert into something that can be shared and just have not done so yet.

I would use it to make my wife happy. She is the photographer and would love something like this.

Well I could start getting pretty excited if this were actually the answer to my combined 'photo and writing' book projects. The creative project organizer speaks to me.

I would get the most use out of the video editing and photo slideshow features. It's a great way to share vacation memories with family and friends.

I have several home videos on DV tabes, and I would like to get clips out of them and onto a DVD, or a few DVDs. I've made complete copies of a few tapes, but the MS software is so slow, that I've been holding off. And, now it is worse, because I have even more tapes.
Something quick and easy would be great, I have hopes for the movie making feature.

I have a backlog of video's to pull off the digital-8 video -- so I would use it to make DVD's

To me, because most all of this functionality is available in other (free) apps, the biggest draw is how well it all seems to be integrated. Also, since my wife would likely be the main user, I like how it hides (but still enables) all of the advanced photo and video editing options.

I'd use it to organize and share my photos, and get started editing photos and making things like photo books and calendars.
