The easy importing of AVCHD video content. It's a nightmare on any platform at the moment - iMovie destroys the quality and Movie Maker doesn't know what to do with it. I've resorted to archiving the whole SD card to protect the video.

TBH, with 8GB cards so cheap now I'm tempted to use them like tapes, and just buy new ones. Content should last indefinitely anyway. However, this app will make it a lot easier to deal with them for editing!

It`s nice being able to edit HD video nowadays. I wonder if it can read mp4 files from a Flip Mino HD...

I think the photo book creation looks sweet. And if it's that simple to create one, just how easy would it be to create other projects using the templates!

Two features stand out for me - the integration of photos and videos, so that you can have a video that includes key photos (e.g in case there is no video footage for a particular scene) and the non-destructive aspect of editing.

Default What I would do with Corel Digital Studio

I would take the big stack of mini DV's and finally get around to capturing and editing them... before I lose too many more of them to the kids mischief. I would also take the thousands of digital photo's I've accumulated over the years and organize and tag them.

I could use the Express Edit and Organizer functions to reduce the glut of 2,000 pics on my hard drive.
