Default Review of the Logitech DiNovo System

http://www.livedigitally.com/dinovo1.html

LIVEdigitally have put up a nice review of the Logitech DiNovo Bluetooth keyboard and mouse system:
"I view Logitech as the BMW of computer peripherals; premium products for the discriminating taste, with a hefty admission price. While I have tried "multimedia" keyboards before (and been less than impressed), this one takes the category further. The whole package comes in a black and dark gray color scheme accented by green and blue LEDs and silver buttons. It is very cool and ultramodern with a European flair. But design is only the extra touch. I will explain who can most benefit from this progressive hardware and why."

The reviewer, Jonas DeMuro, likes the DiNovo system as much as I like it. FYI: I'm typing this post on one right now! I can't help but recommending the DiNovo keyboard to almost anyone. The media-pad is handy for remote listening on radio headphones, the keyboard is extraordinarily silent and the mouse is responsive enough for gaming. Plus you get a Bluetooth station in the deal, for syncing PDAs and cellphones! Quite sufficient for many people's needs.

The reviewer didn't mention which Bluetooth version that his DiNovo system came with since there are two different ones out there. One is the 1.1 version (which I've got) and the newer better 1.2 version that should be even more kinder on the batteries. So, if you are considering buying a DiNovo keyboard system, then be sure it is the one with Bluetooth version 1.2.

I love Logitech peripherals and currently use the MX Duo (RF wireless keyboard with MX700 mouse). The BT part of this is certainly appealing, but I just don't understand the attraction of having the numeric keypad split out into a separate component. I use my keypad all the time, but it's useful only because it's right there. It would lose all functionality for me if I had to go 'find' it somewhere else around my desk and pick it up or slide it over to use it. About the only place that I could see me using this would be if I had a media center PC in my living room. Then the smaller keyboard and separate media controllers would make great sense. I wonder if that's not what Logitech had in mind when they designed this.

Well, I'm with you Crocuta. What I really want to see is a real life hands on review of the MX 3100!

Default Type of Bluetooth

I wrote the review on www.livedigitally.com

The Bluetooth on the diNovo unit I reviewed was the 1.1 variety. I'm glad you all enjoyed the review, and featured a link to it on your website.
