LookWow - Web-Based Photo Enhancement

"The LookWow service is a feature-rich offering that includes basic editing functions, such as Crop Photo, Resize, Remove Red-Eye and Sharpen Photo. In truth all this service does is download a Java applet to your computer where you can perform simple tasks on your photographs. There really isn't anything impressive here, but it does seem to have most of the tools that you'd want in a simple photo editor (including a red-eye reduction tool). There are tons of free software out there that do this and most of them do it better. Of course being Java, LookWow will run on any computer (not just windows).

I'm not bookmarking this site just yet, but we might only be a year away from a Photoshop Elements type program being available on the web.
