In pretty much every laptop review/video I do, I complain about the labels. To me, they ruin the design aesthetic of the laptop. They add zero value to the user - it's not like they're going to forget they're running Windows Vista - and are usually difficult to remove. The laptop OEMs need to push back - hard - on Microsoft and Intel the way Dell has done with the Adamo. I don't mind so much if the labels are on the bottom of the laptop, but I can see why Dell wanted to keep the bottom of the Adamo clean. I'd like to see more of this from OEMs, all the way down the line.

Agree completely. Maybe they could just supply all the stickers seperately and I can place them where I like . Then maybe we can get them to include all the extra software on a CD, and I can install just the demo and trial software I can't live without.

PC manufacturers aren't alone in this. Got a wine fridge recently and the brand plate was included in a little bag. I though this was a bit odd, but reallized when I read the instructions, you could re-hang the door for left or right hinge. Doing so flipped the door upside down. Part of the instructions was how and where, to attach the brand plate, to the smoked glass front door, once you had it opening the way you wanted. RIGHT.
