High Definition Resolution Not Always a Good Thing

However, the voters might want a recount after watching Spears' live concert tonight in High-Definition TV on Showtime. Who would have predicted this would be a side-effect of having so much resolution - stars looking more like mere mortals than the airbrushed goddesses we're used to seeing in magazines.

That's not surprising. She is moderately talented as an "entertainer", but is in not way a "vocalist". Her image is a bigger sell than her talent. I find her songs catchy and enjoyable because they are heavily engineered to be that way. I will take a truely talented vocalist like Christina Aguliera over Brittany any day.

Indeed (my first post after the big break!) When one watches a Spears music video, one has to mute the television to enjoy it :lol:
