Default Bios Reviews D-Link Network Storage Enclosure

http://www.biosmagazine.co.uk/rev.php?id=574

"D-Link’s latest networking product is a 2-bay network storage enclosure designed to facilitate multimedia file sharing, secure important data, and stream content to media players, while offering backup and recovery features for consumers and small-business owners. While this may sound a little humdrum, the aluminium-encased DNS-323 (Best Current Price: £128 ex. VAT/$191) sports some very cool features: it requires no tools or cables to install two 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives, it incorporates a full complement of next-generation technology, including a fast Gigabit Ethernet connection, built-in FTP server for accessing files via the Internet, built-in UPnP audio visual (UPnP AV) media server for streaming digital content to compatible media players, and RAID 1 technology for backing up and mirroring important files. Furthermore, the DNS-323 features a USB print server and has an iTunes Server for simple media access."

Ooh, very nice enclosure. I wish it was a little cheaper though. I currently have a simple Vantec fan-less all-aluminium enclosure for my 400GB backup drive and it works very well and only set me back about $35-40. Of course this one is a bit more intelligent, with support for Standard, JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1. With the new 1TB hard drives now available, I can see this being a wicked fast 2TB RAID 0 setup for an addition to your MCE.

I want that. :-(

I think I remember hearing it worked poorly with the Mac even though it's SMB... That would be a huge downside for me. Guess the wife and I are gonna stick to our external HD's.

Does it have any type of Torrent client built-in (for legal downloading of course)?
