Default Vaja iVod Remixed 4G iPod Case

http://www.vajacases.com/affiliate&ID=100

I've had my 4G iPod for a couple months now and have been switching back and forth between cases. Apple doesn't include a case and most of the one's available at the Apple Store are just too colorful for my taste. My major issues with a case is that it needs to both protect the screen from scratching as well as protect the iPod itself from my abuse (I'm very hard on my equipment). The Vaja iVod Remixed 4G iPod case could just be about the perfect case for 4G iPods. If you aren't familiar with the packaging on Vaja Cases, take a look at Suhit's review of the Vaja IR-21 iRiver iHP-140 Case which has some detailed pictures of the wonderful packaging. The seams on the iVod Remixed 4G are neatly tucked like expensive leather furniture with no stitched seams visible. The exterior of the case is soft to the touch with a cushioned feel that no other case can match. The click wheel is exposed giving you simple access to the controls, but the screen is protected behind a vinyl cover. The slip case design makes it very easy to slide the iPod in and out without much effort.

At the bottom of the case there is an opening for the docking cable. While it is big enough for the standard Apple cable, it won't allow you to plug in a SendStation PocketDock which I use at home to connect my iPod via Firewire to my PC. I have to remove the iPod from the case and then connect it. This probably isn't too big of a deal since most people probably use the docking station, and a bigger hole might allow more damage to happen. Still it was somewhat disappointing. The top of the case allow easy access to an iTrip so you can use it in your car without removing it from the case.

As with every Vaja case I've ever seen or used, the workmanship just speaks for itself. While the case does cost almost twice as much as other iPod cases, the extra money is well worth it to protect your iPod. At $70.00 you get a clean design with a snug fit in almost any color you wish delivered to your door with that wonderful smell of full grain Argentine leather and the knowledge that your Vaja iVod 4G case is unique in the world. You can purchase the Vaja iVod Remixed 4G iPod case directly from Vaja. [Affiliate]

My friend bought a Vaja case for her iPod 3rd generation over a year and a half ago. The case is still in great condition, even though it's been through a lot of stress. The iPod is well protected, and has survived several drops. All in all, if you have the $70, go for this case. The extra security is worth the extra money!
