TrustedReviews gives it a pretty good rating, although I would have marked them down more for their lousy manual. With Raid, dual gigabit ethernet, multiple USB ports and an integrated iTunes server, this looks like a good solution to those who need a place to keep all their hoarded data. It looks like they're targeting it as an alternative to a file server, not as an alternative to traditional NAS though. At approximately $408 USD, it's definitely not cheap, and the fact that it's just a shell and you need to provide your own drives puts it out of the reach of the normal photo/music/video collecter I think. How about you, would you buy this?

Hmm. This looks like something I'm looking for. Dual gigabit Ethernet is sweet. :-)

Unfortunately, that's about the only thing this does that my current Maxtor NAS system won't (well, that and the itunes server, which isn't useful to me).

I have the 200GB NAS with a 200GB One Touch II chained to it. Seeing as I spent $400 for the setup that I have now (and it's probably cheaper now), the extra cost of adding my own drives far outweighs the time I may save using gigabit ethernet... IMHO of course. :wink:
