Well, here's an interesting little dohickey. Basically, add a second monitor with USB instead of a second video card. As a graphic artist, this is of little to no value to me, but I can see a heavy laptop user having one of these on their desk. For $75, the only reason to get one of these instead of a much more powerful video card is if your machine just won't handle it. There are, after all, some computers you just can't add a second video card to. What do you think? Can you see a situation in your life where one of these might come in handy?

Well, yeah, actually as my Shuttle SD11G5 review pointed out, high end cards = noise, so this is a very interesting idea. It sucks that it's VGA only, but I assume (hope?) they're working on a DVI version. I think it's a brilliant idea - if you could go dual monitor without opening up your case and for $100 rather than dropping $500 on a new card, seems like a great deal to me!

I could use one during those rare occasions when I have to do a PowerPoint (or similar) presentation from my laptop through a projector, and also be able to read a script (which could be on the laptop screen).

I wonder if these would work with 2 or 3 connected at the same time. 2 monitor set-up is pretty easy and cheap with a videocard with 2 outputs but more is difficult and expensive
