"I'm not really sure how to end this, in terms of recommending the HD3 or not - I guess you can come to your own conclusion based (in part) on what my experience has been. I will say this though - if there was a way I could return this thing, I'd do it in a second, and I'd use the money to buy an amp for my iPod - I like the size of the HD3 and I'm looking forward to the good battery life, but there are so many little things which I find EXTREMELY annoying, I'd rather have the iPod with its anemic bass at this point."The Sony NW-HD3 falls short of many expectations in this review. It turns out that the author of the review had a defective unit, which is why he was hearig a lot of background noise - but even then the NW-HD3 looses against the iPod.
