Meh.  While I love Logitech's tiny receiver (I have one for the mouse on my netbook), this issue has already been solved by Bluetooth.  Plus I'm betting that this is a proprietary solution, so no mixing Logitech mice with a Microsoft keyboard.

I've had miserable experiences with Bluetooth. Lag being one of them.

Unfortunately this one is not backwards compatible. I'd love to see this work with my MX1100. That way I can just plug this into my Thinkpad and bring the mouse when needed.

This is a great idea, but assume it'll only work with Logitech products. If it works with Microsoft wireless keyboards/mice, I'll buy it immediately.

Getting bluetooth keboards & mice to work reliably has been a nightmare for me. I'll never buy a bluetooth keyboard or mouse again. Too many random disconnects & hassle to reconnect. I recommend to all my customers to stay away from bluetooth products, unless it's related to a phone.

If anyone knows if this is compatible with MS devices, let me know.

Ok, so I see it's currently compatible with FOUR logitech devices

Bluetooth is too easy to hack. HID Attack There have been several reports where someone's keyboard was getting logged without their knowledge. The proprietary system used by Logitech is, at least so far, safe.
