Just a thought, but I think Nintendo will bring a lot more media capability to the Wii in the future. It seems to me that this is why there are Wii channels. Right now the only media the Wii natively supports are photos. Photos are viewed by using the Photo channel. I would not be surprised to see a Video channel and a Music channel come to the Will in the future. Wii channels seem to be Nintendo's way of somewhat future proofing the Wii. Anything they find missing or that the consumer demands they can add at a later date with a new channel. These channels will probably not be free, but I think that was the plan from day one.
