Default Digital Foci Pocket Album

http://www.thomas-pr.com/pressreleases/digitalfocipocketalbumrelease.html

"Digital Foci, Inc. today "Pocket Album," a digital keychain photo viewer with a 1.5-inch color LCD screen that lets you carry your favorite photos right in your pocket to share and relive your photo moments wherever you go. Pocket Album holds a selection of up to 74 pictures with its 8MB internal memory. Photos can be viewed by scrolling manually or through an automatic photo slideshow with adjustable slideshow intervals."

At about the size of a remote for a car, at least this is pocketable. But, I've got to imagine that 99.9% of people that would be interested in something like this probably already carry another device (like say a cell phone) that would do a better job than this by having a larger and perhaps higher resolution screen.

it might be fine if it was only 2-3x the thickness of an sd card, but my car remote is bulky and the wear and tear from its size is evident.

While I don't see this product being a success at the moment, as it evolves I could see a thin OLED screen encased in tough, scratch-resistant plastic, and that's something that would be more appealing to a wider audience.

Yeah, if you take iPod touch and shrink it to credit card size and no thicker than 1 or 2 credit cards, I think you would have a winner.

I am looking at purchasing several for grandparents. I think the price is about $10 too high.
