Amazingly tiny! The YP-T5 player from Samsung comes in 128 MB, 256 MB, and 512 MB flavours, and appears to do MP3 encoding of voice recordings. It also includes SRS WOW technology, which I've always been a bit dubious about - I think it causes midranges to sound hollow (it comes with Windows Media Player 9 if you want to experiment). No word on pricing from Samsung.

Eh, I suppose it'll look cute hanging from a necklace, but unless it's dirt cheap I'll pass. Sometimes, there's such a thing as being 'too small' :wink:

size does matter :lol: but to a point. I would put this thing in my pocket...and forget it's there (after wash/dry .....well) Using this as a keychain would probably be the best option

Small? Yeah.....at what point do you simply build the player into the headphones, sort of like Sony has done in the past with their FM radio headphones? Just imagine two ear buds, connected by a single cord that drapes under your chin or around the back of your neck, that is your player? Given the number of controls and small size that Bluetooth headsets are getting to today, I certainly don't see this as being too difficult to imagine!

For that matter, why NOT build the player into your Bluetooth headset - automatically mutes when you answer the phone, and you can supplement the onboard memory by streaming music from your phone/PDA! The onboard memory would allow you to still listen to music for times when you don't have your phone/PDA with you!
