Default Sharp's Aquos B & G HD LCDs Include 4 1080p Models

http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-11057-New%20Sharp%20Full%20HD%20AQOUS%20LCD%20TV\\\'s.ht ml

"We just love us some 1920x1080 display action, and Sharp's new B and G Aquos TVs offer up four new models with that very 1080p flavor of HD. The two lines are comprised of 18 LCD units, all HD and sporting HDMI, Firewire, and DVI ports. The DVI and HDMI ports are both HDCP compatible, so you won't be left in the dark once Blu-ray and HD DVD players come to market and start locking out the HDCP-less from the high-res good stuff. Sizes range from 26 to 65-inches, with 6ms response times and 1200:1 contrast ratios for all, while the G series (pictured) also adds Dolby Surround and Sharp's 1Bit audio tech."

The new Sharp TV that I purchased is the 45" version of the line that they talk about here and it has a native 1920x1080 resolution TV. The main reason why I chose to go with this one is the native support for 1080p and while I have no 1080p devices yet to drive/test it, I love the picture quality. I also wanted to bring particular attention to the audio part (something that is often overlooked) - this TV has a great sound system.
