Yeah, that was a real loss in Premiere Pro. If you have the production studio, you can use Audition to build music from loops but moving from SmartSound to that is like someone taking away a great jazz CD and handling you a trumpet. I also use SonicFire Pro (the stand-alone SmartSound program), which gives you much more control over the music and Quicktracks is included free when you purchase that, but this is even better still because now any Premiere user can have SmartSound. I've already passed it along to two others at my college who have Premiere but not SmartSound.
Also, great point about the Premiere 6 CD music tracks, Philip. I always install Pinnacle Studio on my system even though I use Premiere, just for the free SmartSound tracks that come with it, but I'd completely forgotten about the ones that came with Premiere 6. I'll have to dig that out and get those installed.
